Finally we heard back from our realtor today at 4:30. The bank accepted our offer on the house. Now it is our turn to make them wait while all the financing goes through but I have a feeling that will go much smoother and quicker. I'll try to keep you posted.
Mom walked to the end of the driveway today. Hurray!

Wonderful Day
Today has been a day worth noting. We will start with the small one.
Nellie: went to play at Aunt Rachel's house and played with Elijah
went to a Cubs game with Uncle Stephen and Elijah
saw Horton Hears a Who
ate Who-Cakes
Samson: had a special Dr. Suess day at school
lost his very first tooth (all because mom made it bleed last night) He said that during lunch it just fell out
saw Horton Hears a Who
ate Who-Cakes
Keaton: went on a field trip to Goldfield Ghost Town
saw Horton Hears a Who
ate Who-Cakes
Hattie: I also got to go on the field trip. It was lots of fun and I learned alot about the gold rush. There are still active mines, and the mine that the ghost town is based from was the richest mine in the world.
I got to see Sam's wonderful happy smile after losing his tooth.
I got great big Nellie hugs and cuddles after a busy day with cousin.
Justin: work, doesn't sound too exciting but yesterday he was allotted money from work to purchase some electronic equipment. They had a little left over so they got a play station and Rock Band. He was excited to go into work today to set it up for everyone. He even dressed up as his rock star self for the unveiling of the new media.
Nana: She came home. (Yes I know most are out of the loop. Loop will be fixed when house is purchased and computer along with everything else comes out of storage. I really hope it is before summer because I packed some candles away.) My mother went in for her second knee surgery on Tuesday. Last time she was in the hospital for four days then a care facility for ten. This time it was just the hospital stint. There is a little more help she needs at home but it totally out weighs anytime in another place. She is up and walking and the PT says it will probably be six weeks with the walker then she will be strong enough on both legs to be on her own. To think my mom will be able to walk to the stop sign. Vahoo!
