Earth Day

Today is Earth Day! One of my New Years resolutions this year was to pick one thing a month to be more green and continue that through the year. Starting small I purchased 'green' dish soap, next month I bought 'green' all purpose cleaner. So today think about one small thing that you can do to be a little more green.

We're Back

Sam helping Pappy move our couch. Yes it snowed the day before we moved. In fact it was a snow day (yes that much snow). As the men were walking and melting the snow on the way from the door to the truck it all turned into mud.
Sam and Nellie playing outside at the apartment. They had very green grass. It was so nice until one of the sprinklers outside our door started leaking and we ended up with a mosquito pool for the last month we were there.
Keaton on field day. As you saw it was snowing when we packed up all our stuff and moved. We had a total of 5 short sleeve shirts for the whole family. No shorts. We didn't think it would take this long to close on the house. Everyone is grateful to have the whole stash of clothing back. Yes he did make this basket.
Sam on field day. He loves sports and to run. His teacher gave them all visors for the day. Hard to keep it on when you are running at sonic speeds.
Beautiful Easter girl. She loved her hat and kept it on all day. That says alot for the hat.

Finally, we've landed. Moved on Feb. 16th moved again on April 10(11,12,13,14)th. Still unpacking. All eventually went well. I found someone down the street that wants all our boxes. Gracias to her. I was just wondering how to get rid of the stack that was starting to be taller than Nellie. What have we been doing. I started working at the YMCA. In Childwatch, this meant that Nellie could come with. This was great because it got me out of the tiny apartment that only held our food and minor bits of clothing. Now that the house is a daunting task I told them I need to cut down my hours. Why not quit you ask. because I like a little (really little) spending money and the small discount the kids will get on the sports. What else. The kids love the school, and the house. Every prayer Keaton has said he has mentioned the house in one form or another. I haven't blogged in awhile so pardon the sporaticness of the post. I hope that as the house gets more unpacked my brain will be more able to play on the computer. More to come.
