Thank you Aunt Alison for thinking of me in my time of quarantine. We love you. (ps Corbin's new movie of choice is George)

A day to celebrate

I think Corbin has figured out what the potty is for. As he says "water poo poo's" or "stinky poo poo's". Everyone is so supportive brothers and sister. We started officially in January 5months later we have had only one accident in 4 days. Wow good job Boo

Just an update. The end of March is the end of the paper route for me. VAHOO!! It has been such a blessing for us to be able to have this particular route. So many things fell into place a year ago. I can honestly say this paper route has been a good thing. I have been offered a position with 3 Rotary clubs in Mesa. I will be their executive secretary. This is a great position and I am so happy to be working with a group of wonderful people. Secondly Justin just received a promotion. He will be the Executive Assistant. I think that is his title. He is so excited for his new responsibilities and the opportunities that this job will provide with networking and furthering his career. I am so proud of him for all the hard work he does advocating for individuals with disabilities. He amazes me everyday!

Fourth day of Thankful: Joseph

There is one man in our life right now that is making things just a little more exciting. His name is Joseph and he really likes coats. This musical has been a huge part of our family. It all started more than 6 years ago. Sam loved to watch Donny Osmond's Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat. We would watch it 3 - 4 times in a row. In fact, I was reminded last night, Sam was made a special "multi-colored coat to wear". As our family progressed Justin was invited to participate in CGCC's production of 'Joseph'. He played Levi. We loved to support him. The boys loved going to some of the practices and watching a play in action. Just recently a mother in Keaton's class mentioned the need for more youth in the production Mesa High was putting on. I asked a little about it. When I found out it was 'Joseph' we were sold!! The boys have been practicing for a month. This last two weeks have been busy and fun. The boys are in their element. Keaton is a little ham. He even gets an acting solo. Sam is great everyone says, 'wow, he is very animated'. The boys are learning so much, about plays and about themselves. They are so responsible and willing to do all it takes to make getting to the show and putting it on happen. I am so thankful for this opportunity for them. Thank you Joseph for making such a fun story to listen to and to tell!

Third day of Thankful: working electronics

This is something we take for granted, until it is to late. It is like a friend that is getting ready to move but it doesn't sink in till you help them pack up the van. Well today I will out loud voice my gratitude for working electronics. Thank you for making my day to day life easier, funner, lazier and all around brighter. Without you I feel like half my brain has been sucked from me. I feel lost and lonely when you are on the fritz. I appreciate everyday that you choose to turn on correctly and quickly. I am pleasantly surprised when I ask something and you graciously comply. Thank you again for all you hard work. I will not take you for granted. (Just keep working!)

Second day of Thankful: Vote

I love the democratic nature that the founding fathers set out for our country in the beginning. I am so thankful for every opportunity I have to share my opinion. (You've all met me, you know it is true!) I am grateful that I am willing and able to place a vote that will affect myself and others. I feel the responsibility to gain as much knowledge as I can to be able to do an adequate job voting. I want to thank those that have worked so hard to enable a white woman the right to vote. Thank You!!

First day of Thankful: Justin B. Harris

I am so thankful for the man I married. I have been pondering more lately on how we got here.



(Yes we were to young to get married) There have been many ups and downs. He has really helped me see more worth in myself. If a man like this can love, and continue loving, me for 13+ years I must be worth something. He has helped me grow up. He has always worked so hard at everything. I love that he is the wonderful dad he is. I know you always hear about wonderful dad's. This man not only in wonderful in the home but is often willing to take the kids on long day trips just to give me a little peace. He is so amazing at music and art. His natural ability at so many things stuns me. He upholds his priesthood and uses it in my home.

I can't say enough about the love I have for the man that married me.

Generation Eight at Challenger Space Center Arizona Event Registration

Blast off with Generation Eight and have a real-life space adventure with the Cat in the Hat Saturday, October 9 at Challenger Space Center Arizona in Peoria. From 9 AM to Noon, families can tour the center, build model rockets, explore the solar system and more — all for free. PacMans Anniversary

Gila Valley Temple

I am so grateful for the faithful members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Gila Valley. Because of the hard work they are willing to do we have all been blessed with a new temple. As a family we got to visit and take a tour of the building. There are wonderful paintings and a beautiful color scheme. I was a great opportunity for our kids to walk thru a temple. In fact after the first time they wanted to do it all again. So we did. I hope that as they grow up they will continue to desire to go to the temple over and over again.

Super BeeKeeping Pappy to the rescue

Don't know if we mentioned we added 4000 pets to our ever growing zoo. If you'll notice the giant pinecone in the middle of this picture... yep 4000 bees. They are very tame. About 9 days ago they showed up hovering around the yard the next day I looked up in the tree and saw a big moving pinecone. I called up Pappy (Justin's dad) and asked if it was possible to make these into our own honey bees. Bruce Berrett from down the street said he could do better than a tall ladder and brought his cherry picker for Pappy to get up close to the work. After about a half hour we got them all to the new hive. They are still there. I check every morning and evening and can't believe our good fortune. I know.. I'm crazy. Everyone is saying the first time someone gets stung.... Well be nice to the bees and you shouldn't get stung. We should have our own home grown honey in about 6-9 months. Wish us (me) luck!
