On his way

Sam is 8 short weeks from turning 11. Between now and then he will finish up getting the rest of the 20 webelos pins, Webelos badge, religious knot, 20 patch, and Arrow of Light. Scouts is so fun and Sam has worked for years to get to this point. I am so proud of him.

Read-a-thon

Samson is awesome. His great teachers came up with a project for the kids in his class to work and earn monies for the big field trip at the end of the year. No cookie dough, no magazines, no buy something from the kid and only 20% goes to the class. A read-a-thon! Each kid is rewarded for the effort that they give. Each penny pledged and earned goes directly to that student. In fact your pledge can be paid through AZ ECA tax credit. Sam is on his third book already finished 450 minutes. If you haven't pledged your 1,5,10 cents (or more) just let us know.

After a wonderful day trip with our wonderful Nana, Keaton was excited to get working on a poster. He noticed, along with some friends, that there was a big empty spot on his choir teachers wall.
Easy remedy. 'Mom can you get me a 9 foot by 9 foot piece of paper?'. Sure son. The next day he free handed this picture. Started setting color to it today and just can't do much else until it's done.
He is great. If only his Uncle Jake was this good. He could probably make something of himself.

Cool enough to play outside

Not saying I am great but I did bring rain to the valley. Yesterday I washed my car, by hand to make the effect stronger. The day before I watered my lawn. What can I say about my super powers. With this wonderful rain comes slightly cooler weather.
