Pumpkins are one of my favorite Cucurbitaceae! I enjoy the many aspects of them. From food, and decoration to stories and history. This year carving the pumpkins at our house was wonderful. I didn't break out in hives (my skin is very allergic). The mess was done when the carving was done. The kids were in their jammies when it was time to light them out on the porch. No oops cuts, no fights, all love and smiles.
