PacMans Anniversary

Gila Valley Temple

I am so grateful for the faithful members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Gila Valley. Because of the hard work they are willing to do we have all been blessed with a new temple. As a family we got to visit and take a tour of the building. There are wonderful paintings and a beautiful color scheme. I was a great opportunity for our kids to walk thru a temple. In fact after the first time they wanted to do it all again. So we did. I hope that as they grow up they will continue to desire to go to the temple over and over again.

Super BeeKeeping Pappy to the rescue

Don't know if we mentioned we added 4000 pets to our ever growing zoo. If you'll notice the giant pinecone in the middle of this picture... yep 4000 bees. They are very tame. About 9 days ago they showed up hovering around the yard the next day I looked up in the tree and saw a big moving pinecone. I called up Pappy (Justin's dad) and asked if it was possible to make these into our own honey bees. Bruce Berrett from down the street said he could do better than a tall ladder and brought his cherry picker for Pappy to get up close to the work. After about a half hour we got them all to the new hive. They are still there. I check every morning and evening and can't believe our good fortune. I know.. I'm crazy. Everyone is saying the first time someone gets stung.... Well be nice to the bees and you shouldn't get stung. We should have our own home grown honey in about 6-9 months. Wish us (me) luck!

My Awesome Husband

Justin is just amazing. This last weekend he did his very first wedding photo shoot. The day was full and busy. Both the bride and groom live out of town and it was a whirlwind to get everything done that they needed. Go HERE to see some of the wonderful pictures.

I sure appreciate all that Justin does. He is a great husband, an excellent dad, really good as a ward mission leader, amazing photographer, great provider, wonderful boss, helpful, cheerful, thrifty, loyal, etc. Sometimes it doesn't feel like things are going his way but with the Lords help he has been able to do so much. I hope he knows just how amazing I think he is.

Thanks for being my man!

Day 364

What were you doing a year ago today?

Me?

I can't remember. It was not an amazing day. More of the usually and some of the same. A year ago tomorrow my life changed forever.

I sure am glad of all the changes.

Can I start lifting weights to build my muscles and make me more attractive? Do you think my little muscles can take it?

To create the appearance of life is more important than life itself. The works of God are never better appreciated than by other creators.

Choir of Angels

The Robin Harris family voluteered and auditioned to sing at the Mesa AZ Temple for the celebration of lights at Christmas. They were fantastic, (Robin, Debbie, Justin, Rachel,Jon, Jentry, Bonnie on cello, Matt, Linsey, Keaton, Savana, Samson and Kacie) The kids did an awsome job on thier song. It brought tears to most eyes. Even though it was a night later in the Christmas season there was quite a crowd. I hope to get some video to upload. Good Job!
