Ketchup

I guess I get to play catch up.

Well last night I had a dream and my mom was in it. She had decideed to buy a home for herself in like an old person trailer park. She had a young roommate like a college girl. She had mentioned the kitchen earlier to me so I went to see it. It was very cute country. With blues and all the cupboards were white. I could tell what she meant when she said all her kitchen stuff would not fit. The most startling thing was that the kitchen was equiped with gas. It had no stove. The end.

Happy Birthday to Kat Ashcroft. Her birthday was Sat. and she is now 29. YEA

I volunteered myself to help with some administrative stuff in Sam's school that is desiganted for parent volunteers. This means I get to go to big meetings and make big decisions. Justin is not to happy about the time this is already taking away from family. I think that it will work out in the end.
Sam's school is having a fund raiser, selling tamales. If you want some let me know. We will be making them the week after thanksgiving. Turkey and Beef.

Nellie is communicating. She says book (without the K). She loves them. Keaton has really taken to reading to her his assigned school books. I think that is helping him more than her.

Well I gotta go clean up the house. Justin's boss is in town today and might stop by. I want to really make Justin feel comfortable if they choose to come to this side of town. Love ya

WHERE ARE THOSE SLEEPING PILLS

You know the nighttime pain reliever with just a little something, the benedryl, the nyquil, even some leftover samples of Lunesta (butterfly flutters). For some reason the last couple of nights I will roll over, which happens frequently even on good nights, and all of a sudden I am totally awake. Awake enough to spell all of this correctly, in the dark. (ok most) Some how Nellie got ahold of my tiny stash of Advil PM. She thought that it was a neat rattle. No problem because I ususally can't get the lid off for a long while trying. So now where is it? Probably in the lost sock cranny of my house. Did you ever see that Arthur that showed his dog and little sister solving the lost sock dilemma? It was a good one, totally explained alot. I highly recommend watching it, if they ever show it again. Oh, you can turn the channel once those annoying kids come on to tell you about how they can do whatever. I already have three of those why do I need to watch some other children. I think that my kids should be on there so that those parents have to watch my kids. They are cute until an hour has gone by and the big one hasn't stopped talking, the middle one is rolling and climbing on you, and the third has a stinky in the stinky spot. Speaking of which she had a rash on her bum that was itchy the other day. My mom said put her in a bath with water and baking soda. It worked wonders! To bad when I had Sam and his itchy problems she just twiddled her thumbs and said, "Oh, I know there is something simple that helps with itches, What could it be. hmmmm." Don't say you don't remember, rebutle with something good like, when Sam was little there was a chemical in baking soda that would burn your skin if used with large amounts of water. Yea that sounds about right. Anyone else getting tired because I would like you to share some. Does chocolate help you sleep? I know I know I know I Know , The scriptures. I will go read the scriptures. What fun tales there are. I will see you in the morning. Well not really but you can picture me in your head but add a little concealer to under my eyes. Thanks

Self getting over moment

Well as most of you know I continually take an anti-depressant. Anyway, this last couple of weeks I have had issues with my prescription and doctor. So today was a particularly symtomatic day. For my family that is worried about me and this since I moved farther away and can't just run away to their house here is some of my day.

Negatives:
Slept all morning on the couch with children crawling all over me.
No desire for food
Wanted to spend all our money
Wanted to put my head through a wall
Didn't want to pick up children from school
Didn't want to feed children dinner

Positives:
Started two loads of laundry and dishwasher
changed Nellie's stinky diaper and got her dressed
Was excited for Sam when he went to school (and for myself)
Used a gift card to buy stuff at a store
Bought myself Whoppers (malted milk balls)
Made dinner
Picked up kids from school
Used a kind voice (most of the time)
Had the kids help clean the house
Had family home evening about cleaning the house
Hugs and Kisses from my getting so much bigger boys
*Picked up prescription at the store!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SIS

Selfish Moment

What do I want for my birthday?
Love and attention

(yea right)

knitted hat looms
a nice iron (having never owned one before I would not cause pretense to know what would institute good or not)
sausage attachment for a kitchenaid
netflix gift card
anything that is warm that you find on sale. My ears are especially getting cold in this wind and stuff.

I think that is it. If I think of anything else I guess it will go on my Christmas list.
Thanks for indulging me!!

Power of availablity

Nellie is getting to smart for her britches. She pushed a stool up to the counter then climbed on top to reach the donuts. Too Smart!!

If Nellie finds a book lying around she carries it to her Papa, climbs up on his lap until he reads it to her. She sure loves the pages and the colors. Papa even does fun voices.

Sam cut his own hair last night. Keaton didn't help nor did he hinder. All morning I thought "Sam's hair sure looks nice when it is combed to the side." Not until we got out of the car at church did I realize what happened. Oh well what do you do? Threaten his life if he even thinks of doing that to his sister!!!

Trees and Tease

Justin took Sam and a friend Noah up to Snowbowl the other day to play on the mountain. There is a large prairie to run in and trees to climb. It was a beautiful day.

We found this wig as we were checking out at the grocery store. The boys couldn't resist the temptation. It must be genetic. Posted by Picasa

Keaton loves to play in the yard. The other day he built a Tee Pee. Of course he has grand ideas of the use and purpose of having a t.p. in ones front yard. Posted by Picasa
