Keaton and the neighborhood boys making smores.

Papa and Nellie singing together

Keaton loves to play in the yard. The other day he built a Tee Pee. Of course he has grand ideas of the use and purpose of having a t.p. in ones front yard. Posted by Picasa

Funny letters at the end

Ok I understand the random script letters after you post a comment. I realize it is to eliminate computer generated stuff. I think that is just what they are telling us. It really is a hidden test from our old typing teachers. They want to know if we remember where all the letters are. You remember: j j jj f f ff k k kk d d dd l l ll s s ss; ; ;; a a aa It is all a dastardly plot. We must not give in. I send a call out for everyone to hunt and peck. We'll teach them to test us randomly in our lives. If you are with me everyone search for the percent sign and capitalize random letters. The leaders of the groups will stand out as they use a v instead of a b because of convience, never shall we reach for the b again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Weekends and winter

On Labor Day weekend we drove down to the valley for Jentry's wedding. It was a great weekend. We got to stay at Leslie's house. (Thank you sis and Christian) The wedding was beautiful. Jentry and Bonnie are perfect together. I am so happy that they found each other. All the waiting and experiencing the world was worth it. I hope that through the years life treats them well.

Last week was a cold rainy week. One morning Keaton looked out the window to the mountain. The whole top was covered in clouds. I thought that throughout the day the wind would blow it off or the sun would melt it. This was a foolish thought by a desert Mesa girl. It stayed all day and the cloud got even lower on the mountain. This change in weather is sure going to be fun. (she says as she unpacks the winter clothes and washes them because they haven't been out since January)

There was supposed to be pictures of this blog but no can upload I guess.

Update

Sorry about the laziness of my posts. I have been reading Leslie's and Alison's, the Russells and even checking dad's hoping for all updates and cute pictures. I just realized it has been forever since I dropped a line. Last weekend was Jentry and Bonnie Harris' wedding. It was wonderful. They are great people and perfect for each other. The weekend was nice to be around familiar things, the heat not included. When we got home there was plenty more unpacking to do. The fun kind was all the IKEA stuff that we got for the new place. Slowly things are finding thier rightful home. Enough was put away that yesturday we rented a carpet cleaner and tried to clean the carpets in the whole house. It was alot of work. Maybe next time we will try smaller bits of land at a time. Church is nice. We are getting more into the groove of the ward. Many new small families have moved in because our ward encompasses some of the family housing at NAU. Rumor has it the bishop will shortly be handing out those callings. I plan on not answering the phone much this week. Somehow I think the spirit is going to confound my brain and I will answer on accident and it will be the bishop. That is how it always works. Well I am tired and the backspace button is starting to heat up because typing in the dark and tired doesn't work so well.

Grandpa always wants SMORE

Here we are for family night using the new smores kit Grandpa brought up to us. I know you can't get enough of my kids, Grandpa, and taking pictures. So the night was in rememberance of you!!

First Day of School

Sam started school today. He was so excited all day. They asked on this first day if the children would come on shifts. This is because they invited the parents to stay the time with them. I decided to go later so Nellie could get her nap. When we showed up we were the only ones. Either they had all come in the lunch shift or not at all. I was able to help contact paper the placemats that the children made for their lunches. It was actually fun. Sam got two on one attention. (when Nellie wasn't stealing it)

Yes our internet is working

Finally the qwest guy came and set up all the stuff for the office, which includes the internet. Well now he gets to come back tomorrow and fix it. You know how it is. I will try to be a little bit more artsy with my blogs to keep up with Alison's wonderful tales. I don't know if it will happen though. I figure at this point get the pictures up and going so that Nana can cry.
This is the dirt mound on the back of our driveway. The boys love digging in it and they invite the neighbor boys to come and play too. That is the neighbors dog Chuy. Sam is loving the kitchen and all the food he is finding in it.

Leslie do you remember this dress. This is in our front room. The door behind Nellie is the master bedroom. The cupboard on the right is the one she was playing in.

The picture of the back of Nellie is facing the back of the drive outside. Kinda where Keaton is standing in the other pictures.

The other picture of Nellie at the table faces east. That is our view of the street, and our tv room. I was just commenting to Justin that the space defined by the couches used to be the size of our whole living room. No wonder it was always a mess. PS I love netflix!! Posted by Picasa
We have a deep cupboard in our kitchen. Nellie got in and started modeling.

We love and miss our wonderful neighbors. Especially when Keaton broke the cold water knob on thier tub, in the on position. So for 3 days we had to keep the house water off. All is well Justin is showing his handyman side. (Mom that would be his right side.)Posted by Picasa

We got a house (now to pay for it)

Kitchen
House (South/East)
Master Bath (literally)
Front room

Finally, after quite a bit of worry, we landed ourselves a house. It is a manufactured home built in 2002. Three bed two bath 1800 sq ft. I have yet to actually see it but it is ours. We started escrow on Friday and intend to close on August 7th. This gives us little over a week to get there before the boys school starts. I am still praying that all the finance stuff goes through like it should. (You never know)

Happy 4th of July

Well here it is the outfit that was 9 months in the making. Nellies that is. It is a 4th of July shirt that I found when she was still in newborn diapers. I saved it and hoped that when the season came around I remembered it and it would also fit her. I sure do love how cute she is. This is her first time wearing shoes. Not to keen on that idea.

The boys are excited for the 4th also. We are planning on watching fireworks ontop of Granny and Pappy's roof. Keaton thinks that it will be windy enough that he can fly. The wind will catch his cape and he will be off. Sam wants to show everybody his new favorite jammies. Thank you Grandpa.

Happy 4th.
