Yep We're Moving
For the last half hour Keaton has been telling me about how he is going to walk to the forest when we move. He even said that he would keep pounding and pounding the animal that was trying to attack him. Then dad can run and jump into the car and come save him after he makes the call that says he is in danger. But while he is waiting he will use the little dagger he made from the arrow heads that he bought at the dinosaur muesum. He hopes that the place we get is big enough for each kid to have thier own room. Good luck with that.

Camping in Sedona
Almost every year Keaton's school class goes on a camping trip to Sedona. It is a great place right next to Oak Creek. The kids spent most of the time in the water. Nellie loved it. There were lots of older girls that loved to take turns holding and playing with her. Keaton found stick after stick. He ran here, there and everywhere. It was rare to see him just sitting around. Sam was such a big kid hanging out with all the other kids. At night they had a class variety show (Annika was sorely missed). Keaton got up a couple times with some jokes and his magic finger tricks. Sam wanted to do some jokes too. He was very brave and got up quite a few times.

Happy Birthday
Nellie turned one yesturday. We spent the day camping and coming back from Sedona with Keatons field trip. (Pictures to come) She loved to count and eat the rocks. She is such a joy. She is the center of attention when all the kids play. Maddie Johnston from next door really loves to play with her. She calls her 'Neddie'. Fun Fun Fun

Another day on the farm
Keaton and Sam got to go to the father and sons. They had great fun. Dad took them on a walk and told stories about the elk hunt a couple of months ago. There was squirrels and camp fire, friends and fun. Sammy told me yesturday, "you know that I stay up kinda late? Well on the father and sons I didn't."Sofi Sue came over to play the other day. Her mom loves to play with her hair while she is eating. I couldn't resist having documentation of her craz
y hair.Leslie told me how fast Sofi has gotten while she is crawling. Check her out, a speed de
mon.Isn't she beautiful?

Just another thing
Well our 900 sq ft are shrinking by the month. We have lived here for 4 1/2 years. Since Sammy was a month old. Every six months I go through the house and pare down what we have so that we can live another six months here. I think that it is about time. However I would rather buy more things, fun things that plug in. Well, today while my favorite mother watched my sick kid I went to Target and bought a cupboard (60 x 24 x 12). This cupboard will house food, so I thought that it should stay downstairs. Justin came home from work and I asked if it was ok where it was. He said, "Just another thing". I think that all of our stuff is starting to overwhelm him quite a bit. I hope that I can get in the groove to pare down and organize the stuff that we have every where. Slowly it will feel less crowded.

They sang as they walked and walked and walked

Today I got it into my head that the weather was nice. It would be a good day for a walk. Sammy and I walked to Leslie's house. Him riding his bike and Nellie was in the stroller. We then went to the meatball store (IKEA) for fun with Leslie and Marit. When we got back the timing was right and I had enough rest I thought it would be good to walk to Keatons school and have us all walk home. It was fun. We walked and rested when we found a shadow. The fire house was on the way so we stopped to look at the engine. Needless to say about an hour after getting home this is what my house looked like. It is very nice and quiet.

Y to get up
I have really enjoyed going to the YMCA. It helps to give a boost to my day. I also feel as though I accomplished something. One of the best parts is the Child Watch, which Sam calls his Y School. Th e girls love my kids and they love the break from Mom. Well wish me luck with the tricep machine. I can't always get the weight up.

Spring day
Nellie is gettin' to be such a big girl. She has started climbing everywhere. She has gotten more comfortable with the stairs and since she is learning to go down feet first she likes to practice everywhere. Climbing up and down the couch, Sam's bed, and even the fridge.
This would be the good mommy moment of Spring. Leslie gave us this slip and slide. I got the energy and pretended to have the time to blow it up. The boys loved it. When I was blowing it up I felt drops of rain but I did not give up.
Sam was great. He had many attempts at the run and jump and slide before he took the plunge.

Ms. Kitchenaid and Mr. Juicer

I would like to introduce you to Ms. Kitchenaid and Mr. Juicer. I have no idea why but they called out to me for a nice home to nest.
Ms. Kitchenaid can now mix, whip, knead, grate, slice (fine, thick and scalloped), grind meat, vegetables, grains, and make pasta. She is waiting patiently for the day that she will be able to do flat pasta's.
Mr. Juicer of course can juice with the most limited pulp emission.(Ms Kitchenaid is glad to hear this) and can create sorbets and ice cream.
As for now I believe it is all to new a set-up for surprise procreation of these to but who knows there just might be another really heavy, 70's green appliance that might show up. (I am afraid it might be a refrigerator, like in Mork and Mindy when they grow backwards.) Who knows but for now I wll pray for these newlyweds.
